Michael Corwin has provided investigative services to the legal, business, governmental and political communities for twenty-two years. Corwin, who regularly investigates cases on behalf of those who were sexually abused decided to move forward on his own on this investigation because he believes strongly that those who enable molestation should be exposed to public scrutiny.

Jeannine Dillon is an award-winning former network TV producer who investigated and produced domestic and international news stories for Dateline, NBC News and Turning Point, ABC News. She began her television career  in the CBS News Paris bureau, working for 60 Minutes legend, Barry Landau, and the inspiration for her journalistic endeavors, Mike Wallace.

Dillon and Corwin’s combined efforts led to an Edward R. Murrow Award-winning national investigative news report aired by Dateline NBC entitled “Mystery on Highway 47”.

TheRealEdMartin.com is the culmination of the investigative efforts of a professional investigator and a former Edward R. Murrow award-winning investigative network television producer. It introduces a unique concept that publishes the results of a three-month investigation in video and print formats, as well as the supporting documentation and video interviews used to build those reports. Providing access to background evidence, original source material, and video-clip interviews encourages two things:

•It allows the media, critics, and general public to assess the accuracy and integrity of the video and written reports by scrutinizing underlying evidence, source material, and unused video-clip interviews.

•It invites the free-flow of information by offering the media, critics, and general public a website forum through which information can be shared, downloaded, screened, and re-disseminated. Those visiting the forum are free to view, disseminate, or use the video report, written report, background evidence/source material, additional video clips not included in the final video, and blog for their own First Amendment purposes.

Why did this investigation focus on Congressional Candidate Ed Martin?

This is not a smear campaign against Candidate Ed Martin. It is a three-month investigation revealing important, relevant, and previously unreported facts that raise serious concerns about Candidate Martin’s integrity, judgment, and ability to serve the public as a United States Congressman. The investigation focuses on the role Candidate Martin played as a member of the St. Louis Archdiocesan Curia, the policy it had of moving accused and convicted pedophile priests from parish to parish, and the trail of molested children left behind.
